Hello from the Sierra Foothills

My name is Nola and this is my first post. I am a Hurricane Katrina and Hurricane Rita survivor. Thanks to the FEMA workers who shared their lunches with me, I managed to do ok living under the porch of an abandoned hotel in Port Sulphur, Lousiana, for almost nine months. June has been my lucky month! I was adopted by an animal rescue person (my new girl:-). I flew with her to California - to join my forever family.
